Cardholder Terms
These terms are incorporated into and form part of the applicable Paymenture Terms of Service.
These Paymenture Cardholder Terms ("Cardholder Terms") govern access to and use of physical cards, virtual cards, tokenized cards, and related payment card functionality made available through the Paymenture platform.
Card Services
Card products may be issued by regulated third-party issuing banks, licensed issuers, or program managers ("Issuers").
Paymenture provides technology and infrastructure services supporting access to Card Services.
Paymenture itself is not a bank or card issuer unless expressly stated otherwise.
Card Functionality
Card Services may include:
- physical cards;
- virtual cards;
- one-time-use cards;
- merchant-specific cards;
- Apple Pay;
- Google Pay;
- tokenized cards; and
- mobile wallet functionality.
Network Rules
Card Services are subject to:
- Visa rules;
- Mastercard rules;
- issuer requirements;
- mobile wallet requirements;
- sanctions requirements; and
- applicable law.
Paymenture does not guarantee merchant acceptance.
Fees & Limits
Card Services may be subject to:
- issuance fees;
- transaction fees;
- ATM fees;
- foreign exchange fees;
- inactivity fees;
- replacement card fees; and
- network fees.
Card Services may also be subject to:
- daily limits;
- transaction limits;
- velocity limits;
- merchant restrictions; and
- geographic restrictions.
Tokenization & Mobile Wallets
Paymenture, Issuers, or card networks may tokenize card credentials for security purposes.
Mobile wallet functionality may be provided through:
- Apple Pay;
- Google Pay;
- Samsung Wallet; or
- other supported providers.
Compliance & Fraud Monitoring
Paymenture and its Service Providers may monitor:
- transaction activity;
- merchant activity;
- device activity;
- geolocation indicators;
- spending patterns;
- behavioral indicators; and
- suspicious activity.
Paymenture may:
- freeze cards;
- block transactions;
- suspend wallet provisioning;
- restrict merchant categories; or
- terminate Card Services
where fraud, sanctions, cybersecurity, or compliance concerns arise.
Lost or Stolen Cards
Users must immediately notify Paymenture or the applicable Issuer if:
- a card is lost or stolen;
- credentials are compromised; or
- unauthorized use is suspected.
Digital Asset Funding
Certain Card Services may permit:
- stablecoin settlement;
- blockchain funding;
- digital asset conversion; or
- crypto-linked funding mechanisms.
Such functionality is subject to the Digital Asset & Blockchain Terms.
Force Majeure
Paymenture shall not be liable for delays, restrictions, freezes, or failures caused by:
- banking outages;
- payment network failures;
- blockchain failures;
- sanctions actions;
- cyberattacks;
- cloud outages;
- telecommunications failures; or
- failures of Service Providers.
Assignment
Paymenture may assign these Cardholder Terms in connection with:
- program migrations;
- issuer changes;
- sponsor bank changes;
- mergers;
- acquisitions; or
- restructurings.
Users may not assign Card Services without Paymenture's prior written consent.
Survival
The following survive termination:
- compliance obligations;
- sanctions obligations;
- dispute rights;
- limitation of liability;
- chargeback obligations;
- freezes and holds; and
- Paymenture enforcement rights.
